My Story
Nick brings over 20 years of experience in the construction and commercial real estate industries, with a focus on tenant representation, site selection, and development strategy.
He began his career as a Project Manager with RMG, a Silicon Valley–based construction firm, where he was involved in the planning, design, and construction of multiple mixed-use developments from concept through completion.
In 2001, Nick transitioned into commercial real estate, specializing in tenant representation, joining Wayne Mascia Associates in Santa Clara, California. In 2004, he joined Studley’s Silicon Valley office, where he was part of a team representing a wide range of tenants—from early-stage technology companies to publicly traded firms including Accellion, Novo Nordisk, Brocade, and Polycom.
Nick relocated to the Portland, Oregon metro area in 2010 and joined Kidder Mathews’ Portland office in 2012, continuing to advise tenants across office and industrial sectors.
In 2018, he founded Rivergate Advisors with a singular mission: to provide independent, client-first advisory services focused on aligning real estate strategy with each client’s business objectives. Today, his work also includes sourcing and underwriting investment opportunities, advising on site selection, and working with clients and partners to entitle, develop, and deliver projects from concept through completion.
